| Description: | As an innovative leader, we provide engineering, design, installation, construction and maintenance of telephone company facilities in the southeast. Due to growth and new developments, we currently have openings for the following: Engineer Prepare F2 copper conditioning drawings and related documents, Utilize OSP records and tools to assign dedicated pairs, determine bridge tap removals and make terminal replacements. Prefer 3-5 years exp. Need to have: Knowledge of various outside plant engineering concepts such as copper cable, fiber optic cable, and coax cable The ability to use cable records, assignments records and loop make up records Knowledge of BSTCAD, OPEDS, OSPCM, IDDS, ICGS, or similar package helpful Experience in Telephone industry or degree in related field helpful Must have understanding of infrastructure plans (highway, sewer, bridges, etc) Strong computer skills with knowledge of Excel CAD Designer Research computer records and prepare job drawings utilizing computer aided drafting. Prefer 1 -3 years. Must have: CAD drafting knowledge (experience or education) Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word We offer competitive pay and excellent benefit plans along with a flexible, positive work environment.
